IT'S A WRAP - TBH CONQUERS CARNEGIE HALL

"A religious presentation sharing and showing the growth of talented children and young people from around the nation in preparation for professional ministry around the world"

September 30th, 2008

Weill Recital Hall

***********************************************

Just as the winds blew in from the South, so did "The Brothers Harris."

Tonight, in the Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall
154 West 57th Street
New York, New York

You will see children at various levels, preparing for professional ministry. The Children of God Organization, strongly encourages children and youth to develop their God given talents to be used for the betterment of the overall world.

Children of God toured Germany in 2007 doing workshops that connected other German Youth to God. They have signed their names, prayers and words of encouragement to the Berlin Wall. They sang to sick children and youth in the Germany Hospital, Walsrode Region.

Mrs. Joubert,
informed us tonight
that the standing on this stage
places a
good, serious, understanding of what it takes
for them to reach
their higher goals, continuously in all
areas of music and the arts

Among the sparkling teardrop chandeliers, gilded gold walls, the renaissance archetial and the velvet drapes, the participants were dressed for the occasion.
"The prestige of Carnegie Hall."

Calm, relaxed, and ready to take the stage to perform the Brothers Harris eagerly awaited their turn to take the stage.

Robert and Ryan, being introduced by Quayla Bramble, who looked like a beautiful Egyptian Goddess, took the stage to sing their rendition of "The Prayer." Just in "Yolanda and Donnie" form, the brothers brought great elegance and presence to the song.

Gracing the stage for the second time, The twins, decked out in tuxedo's, fitting for the occasion, eloquently, sang "My Help" Psalm 121; a Song of David. Befitting, in only God's fashion, the phenomenal pianist, (named) David Joubert, made this David's Psalms selection along with the melodious sound of "The Brothers Harris" inviting, and it was apparent that the "King" was in the room.

Ironically, Ryan's middle name is David, so it seems that King David was all over this one.

The show stopper of the night had to be 5 year old Darius. The youngest member of "The Brothers Harris, patiently waited, long into the night (to make his debut) singing his song "Blessings and Glory." In the true fashion of "The Brothers Harris, Lil Darius took the stage and commanded the audience. His pitch, tone and ad lib ability was "on point" and remarkable for his age. Darius is the drummer of The Brothers Harris group, his skills are remarkable there also. It is quite apparent that he has a love for music and a great ear to hear music.

Other performances included: piano performances by Katherine Gonzalez, dubbed "the princess," Jenine Faith Lycorish, "Mt. Vernon Suite", Reinagle, rendition was the highlight of the pianist performances. The Wallace Sisters, "McDonald's Gospelfest Winners," Quayla Bramble, Hannah Trueheart Brown, and La'Asia Dabney Brown, Alisha Cole, Silvera Stachakay Cole and Chris Welch also had great vocal performances.

The Brooklyn, NY based Excelsior's Children, under the Direction of Mrs Debbie Wallace, gave a great performance singing their rendition of Richard Smallwood's, "How Excellent" with The Children of God, under the direction of Hannah Trueheart Brown, ending the night with their rendition of the McClurkin Project's, "We Praise You", which was lead by NaKera Thorze.

It is obvious, that at various levels, the children are growing in their development. The professionalism, that is being instilled in them from a young age will continue to follow them through their adulthood. It is imperative, that the families of these young people continue to support the efforts of the children and the arts.

Perfection, will come from the experience of trial and error. It is important that these young people take advantage of every opportunity to use their gifts. All situations will not be equal when it comes to performing, but the more they perform (no matter how large or small the crowd) the better they will be able to deal with the unexpected.

This was a great opportunity. One that will linger in the memory "forever."

Carnegie Hall? Did that! What's next!
Should be the attitude

THE BROTHER HARRIS TO CONQUER CARNEGIE HALL IN NYC

The Brothers Harris, to sing at the World's Famous Carnegie Hall in NYC.

Just 11 days after their 15th birthday, the twins (Robert & Ryan) and (5 year old) brother D; will be featured in a special religious presentation.

The religious presentation is hosted by McKoy Joubert LLC. This religious presentation is to show the growth of talented children and young people from around the nation in preparation for professional ministry around the world.

The religious presentation will feature other "extremely" talented children such as the 2008 McDonald's Gospelfest Winners "The Wallace Sisters," Ashley Nedwell and others.

The presentation will take place Tuesday, September 30, 2008 @ 7:30 PM in the Weill Recital Hall, 154 West 57th street, NY, NY.

The Brothers will be singing a duet "My Help" and a Old Time Medley. Baby Brother D (5 yrs) who is usually the groups drummer, will also be performing a solo " Blessings & Glory."

The Brothers Harris are excited about this opportunity as Carnegie Hall is one of the stages they wanted to conquer.

"The Kennedy Center, Broadway and now Carnegie Hall, life is good", says the brothers.

Ministry has been the brothers life and getting God's Word out is what we hope to accomplish through song.

The Brothers Harris have shared the stage with some of Gospel's Biggest Artist, such as Dottie Peoples, Richard Smallwood, Alvin Darling and The Timothy Wright singers.

TBH OPENS FOR TIMOTHY WRIGHT FUNDRAISER

Pastor Timothy Wright
McKoy Joubert LLC is Proud to Present
a Strategic Fundraiser to
Raise $100,000 in a
Benefit through Worship
in Honor of
Pastor Timothy Wright
Saturday Sept. 6, 2008 at 3:00pm
(Praise & Worship begins at 2:30pm)

TBH, opens with Praise and Worship for Pastor Timothy Wright's Fundraiser on Saturday, Sept 6, 2008 in Plainfield, New Jersey.

With winds blowing and rain pouring, The Brothers Harris commanded Hannah to wait. The twin duo took over praise and worship to get the crowd ready to receive Pastor Timothy Wright.

Artists from the New Jersey, New York area came out to support this worthy cause. Backed by a mass choir of approximately 100 voices of combined choirs in the NJ and NY area, that included Shiloh Baptist, Sharon Baptist, Calvary Baptist, New Fountain and others, TBH set the tone for the night.

TBH, was joined on stage by their own, Children of God choir members that lead to high praise.

Other artist such as Alvin Darling and the Celebration Choir brought down the house with songs "Nobody but the Lord" and "I called on the Lord".

At the 3:30 PM hour, Pastor Timothy Wright was medivac in with family in tow and brought to the front of the stage where the the whole Shiloh Baptist Church was in cheers and tears.

Rev. Timothy D. Wright, the church's founding Pastor (Grace Tabernacle Christian Center, Brooklyn, NY) and an award-winning Gospel singer, who lay in a hospital bed more than 150 miles away after being critically injured in a car crash on Friday, July 6, 2008. His wife and co-pastor Betty, 58, was killed in the accident, the authorities said.

Pastor Wright, known to fans as the "Godfather of Gospel", has recorded more than 10 albums of gospel music and has been nominated for several Grammy Awards. He started his own choir in 1976, and grew popular over the decades with hits like "Trouble Don't Last Always", "Who's on the Lord's Side?" and most recently, "Jesus, Jesus, Jesus" , which spoke of the victims of Hurricane Katrina.

The couples 15 year old grandson, D. J. Wright, who was also in the car during the accident died on Saturday night.

Pastor Wright and his family were returning from a church conference in Detroit when their car was hit head on by a car being driven in the wrong lane, police said. The driver of the other car, identified by the police as John Pick, 44 of Lewisburg, PA., was also killed.

Pastor Wright was moved to Kessler from Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pa., where he had surgery.

The "Godfather of Gospel," according to his family's attorney and friend Laurie Schneider (whom was also in attendance at Shiloh on Sept. 6, 2008), suffers from numerous fractures, including injuries to his spinal cord. He currently breathes with the help of a respirator.

"Although on good days he is able to speak and breathe on his own for short periods of time, he is also able to move his neck and shrug his shoulders," a news release says. "He does have feeling in his hands as well, according to his son Derrick Wright.

It was so overwhelming to see Pastor Wright. I didn't know what to expect. I wasn't sure how he would look and could I handle it, said a worshiper. He looked "fantastic" fabulous! I was so excited and just knew in my spirit that God has "healed" this man of God. He has aways to go but seeing him, I am convinced that he will walk, talk and sing again. It was beautiful.

Dr. Marrietta Brown from The House of Restoration Ministries, Petersburg, VA., instructed the crowd of worshipers that no pictures and touching should be done as Pastor Wright came down the aisle. Dr. Brown's words of encouragement to the Wright family also set the stage for the giving. She said, " God honors what we do in secret". She also said, "This man of God has worked tirelessly in the vineyard and is worthy of this." Dr. Brown and the House of Restoration Ministries, gave a selfless donation of $1,000.00 along with Mckoy Joubertllc and Shiloh Baptist Church and others. Other donations in the amount of $ 500.00 came from Alvin Darlings Celebration choir and Pastor Timothy Wright's own Concert Choir. A corporation from VA, represented by Alex Snipes, that Pastor Wright had sung for some year earlier donated $ 25,000.00 stated, that he needed some artist for a gospel festival that they were having and Pastor Timothy Wright responded to the call and with very little money, the company tried to compensate Pastor Wright, he replied " We are good and just wanted to be a blessing." The companies representative (Snipes) said, "he never forgot that." That is just the integrity and character of Pastor Wright.

The highlight of the evening came when Pastor Timothy Wrights own Concert Choir came up to sing under the direction of David Wright. You could just feel the love in the room. The spirit and anointing was so high. The Concert Choir shook the roof off of Shiloh Baptist Church. Singing, "Come Thou All Mighty King", "Jesus Will" " Who's On The Lords Side?" and the show stopper of the night; "Jesus, Jesus, Jesus". All the elders, pastors and dignitaries in the house came forward to lay hands on Pastor Wright. Complete and total healing and restoration was the petition of the night.

As the evening drew to a close. Pastor Wright's youngest son Derrick, came forward to give remarks on behalf of the Wright family. He told how the family is learning to cope with the elevation of their mother and nephew and how God is still in control and how they emphatically believe that their father will walk, talk and sing and preach again. He also spoke about how God has already show up restoring movement in Pastor Wrights arms. He thanked all those that have come far and near and all those that have made a contribution in anyway since their ordeal began. He asked that the, body of believers will continue to pray for their family. Upon leaving Pastor Wright gave some nods and smiles and I believe in my soul he was well pleased.

The final tally for the night was approximately $ 37,900.00 raised with plans to hold a fund raiser in Chicago.

The family is seeking the publics help in raising enough money to care for Pastor Wright at Kessler, the release said. Pastor Wright's care cost about $ 4033. 00 per day x 30 days = $ 120,990.00 a month.

Checks in the amount of $ 500.00 or more should made payable to:

YOUNG NALA LANDS NICKELODEON SHOW

CONGRATS
GO OUT TO
BROADWAYS
LION KINGS YOUNG NALA
CHEETAH TOUR 2004-2005
ASHLEY ARGOTA

Ashley Argota, has just landed the role of “LuLu” in the new Nickelodeon Series, “True Jackson!” This is one of Nickelodeon’s most highly anticipated new television shows.

Ashley will be starring opposite Keke Palmer from “Akeelah and the Bee” and Greg Proops from “Whose line is it Anyway”! This show is scheduled to air on Nickelodeon in the fall!

TBH starred in the Award winning Broadway Musical, The Lion King as Young Simba. Co-starring along side them was Tahira Wyche and Ashley Argota.

Ashley and the boys quickly became inseparable as they toured the West Coast for 10 months.

To date the 3 are very close encouraging each other on their dreams and endeavors.

TBH, always knew that Ashley would go very far as she is talented and determined. Ashley is our sister and we will support her, what ever her dreams are!

TBH, loves that she is doing what she loves.

Ashley as before we will see you in 'HOLLYWOOD'! Although our paths may take different paths we will always end up together "Lion King Forever"

More on Ashley Argota.......................

“Dreams Come True for this Pop Princess!”

Many of us dream about being onstage; from the early age of 3 years old, Ashley Argota has been pursuing that dream. Ashley began singing at the age of 2 and if you ask her mom, Aurora, she hasn’t stopped since! Ashley knew exactly what she wanted to do. She wanted to make music, be on TV, and in the movies! Lucky for her, she has an amazing family who have been helping to make her “DREAMS COME TRUE!”

Ashley began to go to auditions & couldn’t believe how many other kids were up for the same jobs she was! It was a real eye opener! The first job she booked was a commercial for “THE JUNGLE BOOK 2”. Years later, she’d find herself starring in Disney’s hit musical “THE LION KING” as Young Nala! Ashley’s mom packed up and took their little girl on the road! It was one of the most amazing experiences she’s ever had! She and her family always work together to help her balance busy days of auditions, shoots, recording sessions and her schoolwork. It’s also very important for Ashley to “give back”, so she always finds time to help out in her community!

When she got back from “The Lion King”, she landed several roles in the popular “American Girl Revue” at the Grove in L.A. (It’s a show based on everyone’s favorite AMERICAN GIRL dolls!) Ashley loved this because not only did she get to do a lot of fun shows, she also got to perform at Children’s Hospitals and other places that let her get out and sing for kids!

At the young age of 14, Ashley is enjoying an amazing career in the business. National tours, commercials, movies, and television appearances….she’s loving it all! Then, one day, her dreams of singing on stage as ASHLEY ARGOTA began coming true!

Ashley started preparing for her path as a recording artist a few years ago by being the youngest performer ever to win 5 times in a row at “Amateur Night at the Apollo”. She went on to be a “Star of Tomorrow” at “Showtime at the Apollo.” Ashley then went on to perform at such venues as Universal Citywalk, The MGM Grand in Las Vegas, and Dodger Stadium! Every time she hits that stage, there’s something magic that happens…for both her & her fans!

Continuing to follow her dreams, Ashley recently completed her debut CD titled “Ashley,” with her Los Angeles based production company, MOHO PRODUCTIONS.

TBH GOES TO COLLEGE AT 14

In June 2008, TBH spent a week at St. Mary's College in ST. Mary's MD.

The 5 day college experience was part of an Youth Leadership Conference sponsored by SMECO (Southern Maryland Electric Co-Op).

Mrs.Bernadette Lewis was the head coordinator of this program that has been in existence for some years now.

In January, High school students in Southern Maryland, grades 9-12, can visit their counselors to pick up an application packet or they can contact Mrs. Bernadette Lewis at (301) 751-0243.

Youth from all over Southern Maryland High Schools, were selected based on grades and recommendations by teachers and community leaders as well as an essay about "why they should be chosen to attend the Youth Leadership Conference."

The chosen youth spent 5 days experiencing the college life. The youth were assigned to dorm rooms with roommates, given meal tickets for their meals, provided keys for their rooms. The youth also had to bring all the necessities that college students bring i.e, personal items, sheets, blankets, pillows etc.

They attended workshops daily with such noted speakers as Ed Gerety and Domique Dawes, The worlds famous US gymnist.

The workshops also ended with q & a periods. The youth were able to come together and collectively speak about the speakers topics.

During down time, the youth took time to meet other youth, rock climb, swim, and play basketball.

One parent replied," This is just a great opportunity for these kids. It gives them a chance to see what college life away from home is like while also instilling in them some responsibility. They can't call mommy to make them get up and get to their class on time. Now they have total control. I must admit I cried like a baby when we had to leave. I couldn't believe I was leaving my baby at college. Now I truly have to value the 2 years we have left before they "really" go off."

All the students we spoke with said, they had a great time and look forward to coming back next year. They also mentioned they would start letting more of their friends know about the opportunity and the experience.

TBH, said the experience was great. They got to meet new friends, experience college life, and hear great speakers. Their only regret is; they wished it was longer. They are truly looking forward to next year to experience the Youth Leadership Conference again.

TBH - JOINS THE X-REVOLUTION

The X-REVOLUTION was a vision birthed out of THE CHILDREN OF GOD. THE CHILDREN OF GOD (COG) is a professional ministry that trains youth for global workshop in the many areas of music theatre and dance. Having already performed and taught in Germany and France, these are special talented young people with an endeavor to change the world. The X-REVOLUTION helps to create a day to day lack of neighborhood fear for all youth living in challenged neighborhoods where simply walking home from school can be potentially dangerous. The X-REVOLUTION has had enough and has formed for this purpose. Street violence and fear must stop so that the children and youth can grow up with no fear of what is outside of their door.

THE NEW JERSEY X-REVOLUTION takes on the challenge of Plainfield New Jersey where the streets are most definitely challenged with fear for children. By joining this state chapter, you now have a voice to participate in events, social and other services that can directly impact your neighborhood through events that attract challenged youths on drugs, in gangs, etc. to hear voices of ex-peers who can help change the minds of their ex-friends who are still involved in street life, violence and drugs. Changing them one by one.

Join the X-REVOLUTION!!!!!!! IT WILL SOON BE COMING TO YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD!!!
